This Privacy Policy applies to your use of www.mizzenandmain.com and other websites and mobile apps managed by us (our “Sites”) and your communications directly with us. When you use the Sites, We collect personal information when you make an online purchase, create an online account, sign up to receive our emails, arrange for a delivery, return a purchase, or participate in a sweepstakes, contest, promotion or survey. We also collect personal information when you communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. We may receive your personal information from our service providers and third party sources.

Information We Automatically Collect:

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our Sites. If you don’t want Analytics to be used in your browser, you can install the Google Analytics browser add-on.

If you no longer want to receive email marketing communications from Mizzen+Main, please follow the “unsubscribe” instructions that are included at the bottom of each message. Please note that if you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, you will still receive order confirmation messages.
Mizzen+Main may collect your email address via cookies and pixels on the Website through the use of trusted third party partners. These partners may combine your email information with other information they have access to such as mailing address so that Mizzen+Main may serve relevant marketing offers to you via direct mail. If you do not want Mizzen+Main to collect information about you, please contact Mizzen+Main to opt out.

Cookies Policy

Your Choices and Access to Information
You have the following choices with respect to your Personal Information:

You have the right to request that Mizzen+Main disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will disclose to you:

- The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
- The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.

Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that Mizzen+Main delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:
- Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
- Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
- Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
- Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.

- Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
- Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Exercising Access, Data Portability, And Deletion Rights

Only you may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Response Timing And Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.
Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. Unless permitted by applicable law, we will not:
- Deny you goods or services.
- Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
- Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
- Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
Children’s Privacy
The Sites are not directed to children under the age of 16, and Mizzen+Main does not knowingly collect Personal Information or other Information from anyone under the age of 16.
Disclosure
We share your personal information with the following categories of third parties:
- Subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Contractors and service providers.
- Third-party internet advertising networks.
We may also share your personal information with third party data cooperatives for our commercial purposes as well as for the commercial purposes of those cooperatives. We will not share our users' contact information or consent to be contacted via SMS for marketing or promotional purposes with third parties, affiliates, or subsidiaries.

- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.

We may share aggregated information about our users without restriction.
In the preceding 12 months, Mizzen+Main has disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose: (A) Identifiers, (B) California Customer Records personal information categories, (D) Commercial information, (F) Internet or other similar network activity, (G) Geolocation data, (H) Sensory data, (K) Inferences drawn from other personal information, (L) Equipment information.
Hosting
Our store is hosted with an ecommerce company. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through their data storage, databases and the general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
Our payment system is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Service Providers
Service providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Company Acquisition
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
