10 Years of Mizzen+Main

It all started with a simple idea—a better dress shirt. After that, well, the rest is history.

The Shirt Heard ‘Round the World.

With the invention of the performance fabric dress shirt, Mizzen+Main is born and a new era of men’s workwear begins.

Mizzen+Main is featured in The New York Times.

We’ve gone mainstream. Kevin Lavelle is included in the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list, and Brooks Brothers takes note of new “competition.”

Introducing The Leeward

After creating the world’s first performance fabric dress shirt, we perfect it with the product you know and love today—The Leeward.

We make pants.

No longer just a dress shirt company, our first iteration of pants provides the same comfort and performance, now for your lower half.

ATF Partnership

We’re proud to sponsor the Adaptive Training Foundation (ATF) and its efforts to provide rehabilitating, adaptive performance training to veterans and individuals who have suffered life-altering injuries.

J.J. Watt Signed as Brand Ambassador.

In addition to a stint as our “Creative Director,” J.J. Watt launches his own Mizzen+Main line and further cements the brand as a staple for professional athletes.

We sell our 100,000th dress shirt.

That’s a lot of dress shirts.

We start selling in Nordstrom.

Not only are we excited to partner with one of the most well-known retailers in the United States, but being the fastest-growing men’s brand for them at the time wasn’t too shabby either.

Mizzen+Main receives private investment.

Shoutout to anyone from the L Catterton team reading this. Thanks for keeping the lights on.

The now-famous scene of Phil Mickelson playing golf in a dress shirt (accompanied by his viral dancing video) opens up the world of golf to Mizzen+Main. And he’s just the beginning of our presence on the PGA

We expand to 6 retail locations.

Come see us in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Ft. Worth, Oklahoma City, and Tampa.
